Mandarin Oriental, Geneva has announced its collaboration with the first Japanese chef to have been awarded the maximum three Michelin stars at his Paris restaurant Kei.

Kei’s bento box consists in a three course-menu available on the hotel’s take away shop. This gourmet dining experience includes a miso soup with shimeji mushrooms and baby leek, Kei’s chirashi made with wagyu beef, eel and prawn, a matcha green tea tiramisu and is priced at CHF 78.
Guests can also enjoy Kei’s culinary creativity in the privacy of their room or on the occasion of private events held at the hotel.

 

About Kei Kobayashi :

After a first experience of French cuisine in Japan, Kei moves to France to improve his knowledge. He explores the French provinces to better understand the wealth and depth in the expression of French cuisine.
He moves to Paris where he learns “haute gastronomy” with the famous chef Alain Ducasse, perfect cooking time, impeccable finishing, beautiful and highly skilled gestures… He becomes a master in the Parisian cuisine honored since 2020 by 3 Michelin stars in the famous Red guide.
